Limited edition handmade linocut print
‘Glen Isla’ was created at the beginning of the year following a Christmas spent in the Cairngorm National Park in Scotland.
Inspired by classic Japanese woodblock prints I wanted to capture something of the quiet majesty of the Highland landscape.
The printed image measures 78cm wide x 28cm high and is created using two panels of Japanese vinyl linocut, printed by hand, using a Slama 60 hand press with relief inks onto Heritage 135gsm paper.
