Unframed

‘GO!’ was created after watching my son play for his local mini-ruby team. I wanted to capture the moment when a player has the thrilling opportunity to succeed or fail in scoring a try. The title GO! is the shout of enthusiasm from supporters standing on the touchline.

The printed image measures 66cm x 27cm and is created from two panels of Japanese vinyl linocut, printed by hand, using relief black ink onto Heritage paper. The green and red colours are then added from two other handcut linocut panels.
