‘The Salmon - River Tay’ shows a determined salmon persevering its way up the River Tay in Scotland back to where it was born.

The image was produced as my response to the 2021 Im_printed ‘Circle’ Invitational. Im_printed is a specialist Instagram feed of curated international printmaking.

The printed image measures 15cm wide x 15cm high and is created using two carved panels of Japanese vinyl linocut, printed by hand, using a Slama 60 hand press with relief inks onto Heritage 135gsm paper.
